Crystal through the years
The Crystal Café Restaurant is in the central port of Pothia Kalymnos and is housed in one of the most beautiful and historical buildings.
The landmark building of the Crystal Hotel, a three-storey building which first section was built about 1930 and further extended in 1960, to accommodate the elite guests of the island.
The building due to its location offers a panoramic view of the beautiful rocky landscape of the island and the picturesque Aegean Sea.
The property for many years remained unused, until 2018 when the owners decided to bring it back to life, to renovate it, keeping its classic, traditional character, combining it with a modern, contemporary logic.
The result was that the historic building regained its old glory, now as a Crystal Café Restaurant, and continued its journey through time.
The style of the building maintains the identity of the original Crystal Hotel, but with all the modern comforts and services for customers and thus it has been upgraded to a modern catering-leisure place, for coffee, food, drink, preserving the nostalgia of the past. Each space has its own atmosphere.
The cuisine is Greek, with influences from the East and the Mediterranean, eclectic, with ingredients coming mainly from local producers and suppliers, focused on the best quality.

In the yard
In the beautifully designed area of the courtyard, you could enjoy your coffee, your breakfast, your branch, your food, but also your drink, surrounded by the two most beautiful mansion buildings of the port and of course overlooking the sea.
At night, the place turns into an outdoor pub, for draught beer, wine, drink, and pub-street food in its most refined version.
